Commitment
This site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.1, at Level AA. If anything here keeps you from getting what you need, write to jperst4162@gmail.com and I will fix it and reply with what changed.
What has been done
- Contrast is measured, not estimated. Every text and background pair on the site was computed against the WCAG formula and meets or exceeds 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text.
- The page works from the keyboard. Every link, field and button is reachable by tab, in a sensible order, with a visible focus outline that is not the browser default.
- A skip link is the first thing in the tab order, so keyboard and screen reader users can jump past the opening panel.
- Structure is real. Headings are properly nested, the form uses genuine labels tied to their fields, and the chart image carries a text description of what it shows.
- Errors are described in words. Form validation names the problem and how to fix it, and never relies on colour alone to signal it.
- Text reflows. The layout adapts down to a 320 pixel viewport and survives being zoomed to 200 per cent without loss of content.
- Motion is optional. Nothing flashes or autoplays, and transitions respect the reduced motion setting in your operating system.
Known limits
The chart plate is decorative context rather than information you need in order to act. It carries a description, but its fine halftone detail is not conveyed in text, because no part of the offer depends on reading it. Nothing on this site requires you to interpret the image.
This site has been checked by its author against the criteria above. It has not yet been through an independent audit or been tested with every combination of assistive technology. If you meet a barrier, your report is the most useful thing I can get.
Getting the same service another way
You never have to use the form. Email me directly at jperst4162@gmail.com with what you want to find out, and you will get exactly the same response. If a written report is not a usable format for you, say so and we will agree one that is, at no additional cost.
Reporting a problem
Write to jperst4162@gmail.com. Tell me the page, what you were trying to do, and what got in the way. I aim to acknowledge within two business days and to fix genuine barriers as a priority over other work.
